The hours of operations for various attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have been reduced through the rest of the year.

While Animal Kingdom is now open later than it used to be years ago, many rides will now close earlier or will open later than before. These include:

• Kilimanjaro Safari is now closing at 7:45 pm, and will move to a 6:30 pm closing beginning in November.
• Maharajah Jungle Trek is delaying opening until 10 am and closing at 5 pm.
• Kali River Rapids and DINOSAUR are opening at 9:30 am and closing earlier at 7:30 pm.
• Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is opening later at 9:30 am and closing early at 4:30 pm.

The reason for the changes is unknown (likely budgetary), especially as we head into the busier time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort.
