Peter Pan’s Flight and the Tomorrowland Speedway will both be closing for refurbishment in early 2019 at the Magic Kingdom.
Peter Pan’s Flight will be closed January 7th, 2019 through February 2nd, 2019. It is unknown what work will be taking place during this closure.
The Tomorrowland Speedway will be closed for work related to the construction of the TRON roller coaster in Tomorrowland. The closure is set to start January 2nd, 2019 and will last for several months. No reopening date has been announced as of yet. during this time, the track layout of the ride will be altered to accommodate the new TRON attraction.
Don’t blow this Disney. Fix that smelly eyesore speedway while you have the chance.
I have a lot of fun memories of the Tomorrowland Speedway when I was younger.. BUT, it just needs to GO!
You may not be younger anymore, but many guests are. A lot of them love it and it still attracts decent waits. I could do without the smell, though.
No it does not it’s fond memories for our kids generation 👍I’ve been going now for 32 years consecutively and still love it kids find it great when it doesn’t go the way the wheels turn and love to bump people at end maybe should consider electric cars with big horns 😀
The Speedway is iconic Disney, as a former cast member and guest since the 1970’s my Daughter and Grandchildren loved the experience..yes, it’s loud, it is smelly, the wait can be miserably hot however..a true classic that ( unlike the original TIKI room of the 1970’s) has always been the original that those of us baby boomers will cherish forever
Is there a way to find out if they increased the speed of Peter Pan’s Flight and the Winnie the Pooh ride? They seem to go by faster now.
