Since the early 1990’s, guests entering Disney’s Hollywood Studios from World Drive have been greeted by a giant film strip with previews of the attractions and shows they would be able to see during their visit to the park. In preperation for the opening of the new car entrance on November 8th, the filmstrip entrance is starting to be taken down.
Starting November 8th, this entrance will be used by Cast Members only.

So, there goes another piece of the old Disney’s Hollywood Studios… what’s left?
Think there’s any chance they’ll move it to the new entrance? I don’t see why else they wouldn’t just wait until November 8th to take it down?

Indy Stunt Show is the only opening day attraction left, I can think of. But I’m not sentimental about that one, its seen its better days. Plus there’s only so many times you watch the same show. Hopefully it’s on the scrapheap as well with the new Indy mini land rumor.
I’d much rather have 2 new rides and a Backlot Express retheme (hopefully with the Ark in it).
Indiana Jones wasn’t opening day, it opened in August 1989.

It was open in June of 1989 as I stood in line for over an hour and a half to see the show. MGM had been open for less than a month when I was there.
They did some test shows here and there, but it didn’t open until August 25th, 1989.
