If you find yourself at Disneyland Resort on Halloween without a Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket, don’t stress! There are plenty of Halloween-themed things to do around the resort that don’t require a party ticket or a 200 percent ticket price markup by someone on Craigslist. Here are seven ways to celebrate on October 31
Take A Stroll Through Cars Land
Cars Land at Disney California Adventure is transformed for “Haul-O-Ween” into a spooky dreamland complete with two Halloween-themed ride overlays, cars in costumes and decorations everywhere.
“Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree” has new ride songs and decor.
“Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween” also has a new soundtrack and decorations for Halloween.
Cars Land Halloween festivities are available during normal park hours and DCA is open to both Halloween party and regular park guests on Halloween party nights.
Ride “Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark at DCA
Enjoy the same drop thrill ride with a twist after 5:00 PM. New storylines and music transform this ride into an, arguably, even more frightening experience than the original.
Enjoy Halloween Treats Throughout the Resort
Enjoy treats like the “Spoke-y Cone Macaron” found in Cars Land. You can read about seven things to eat before Halloween Time is over here.
Check Out the Resorts for Halloween Decor and Activities
Here is a photo spot available in the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel. There is also a sign out near the pool of the Disneyland Hotel for daily pumpkin carving.
Watch Halloween Fireworks From the Esplanade
Even though you can’t go into Disneyland without a party ticket you can still see the “Halloween Screams” Fireworks at 9:35 PM on party nights from the Esplanade. The Esplanade is the center between DCA and Disneyland and crowds gather here to watch fireworks whenever they are scheduled.
You can also catch the Fireworks from the Mickey and Friends parking structure on the way out.
Meet Characters in their Halloween Costumes at DCA
Minnie is dressed up for Halloween at DCA. Mickey, Goofy, Daisy and Donald are also available throughout the day in their costumes.
Visit Disneyland Before 6:00 PM
If nothing else, Disneyland is still available for all guests before 6:00 PM during the day on October 31.
Happy Halloween!
