Disney Will Release Frozen 2 Five Days Earlier Than Originally Planned

When it comes to the release of Frozen 2, Disney has decided to “Let it Go” a bit earlier than expected.

The highly anticipated sequel to the 2013 movie was originally slated to be released on November 27, 2019, which is the day before Thanksgiving. Disney has now announced that the film will open five days earlier, on November 22.

Disney has not said why they made the decision to release the film early.

Frozen 2 will see Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad reprising their roles as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, but little is known about the plot of the movie. In April, Bell said she had finished recording the film, but details had to remain under wraps.

“I know the songs, I know the stories. It’s very good. I can’t say much more than that or I’ll get in trouble,” she said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Evan Rachel Wood (Across the Universe and Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther and This is US) are also expected to lend their voices to Frozen 2, but no details about their characters have been released.
