Fans Of And “Guardians Of The Galaxy” Rent A Billboard To Get James Gunn Back
Some fans will just not take no for an answer. Both Marvel and Disney have officially stated that James Gunn will not be returning to direct “Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 3”, but again, some fans still have hope. And apparently they have a lot of money too. The billboard appeared just last week and was only a few miles from Disneyland. The cost to display the message was $4,000 and the group actually collected over $5,000 through a GoFundMe page.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
“We really love Gunn as both a creator and the man we’ve seen him mature into,” Cincinnato tells The Hollywood Reporter. “Even if this wasn’t going to cause Disney to see their mistake, we could at least show James Gunn how much support he has in his corner of the galaxy.”
It is good to hear that they have good intentions and that they will be happy even if they just show James Gunn support, but have a feeling that is all that will happen in the end.

Empire Magazine Incorporates Thanos’ Finger Snap In Its December Issue
Unfortunately, this cover (above) is just for Empire subscribers, but it sure is a pretty neat cover. The December issue of Empire is their special year end review issue. It’s hard to believe that we are so close to the year end, but a lot has happened, especially in the pages of Empire. And a lot has happened, especially in the MCU, and check out Empire’s take on the events that had us see half of the MCU disappear.

“Vision” May Be Joining “Scarlet Witch” In Her Disney Play Series
It seems like every week we are hearing about characters from the MCU getting their own series on Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney Play. First it was Loki and Scarlet Witch, with each getting their own solo series, and then Winter Soldier and Falcon were getting a buddy series. Now it sounds like Vision may be appearing in Scarlet Witch’s series.
From /Film:
The other thing I’m hearing is that Paul Bettany‘s Vision will have a large part in the previously reported Scarlet Witch show. In fact, it may actually be a series more about the super-powered couple than just Wanda. This makes sense to me, as Wanda’s relationship with Vision is more compelling than Wanda on her own, and the two have a long and fascinating relationship in the pages of Marvel comics. I don’t think Scarlett Witch has received proper development outside of maybe Civil War, so a series that explores her further via her relationship with Vision makes sense.
It seems to me that a lot of us are jumping to conclusions that this is a done deal. Neither Disney nor Marvel has yet to confirm that any Marvel series is in development for Disney Play. I wouldn’t get too excited until we hear from either Disney or Marvel. Stay tuned.

New International Poster And Calendar Photos For “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse”
A site in France called Les Toils Heroiques has gotten their hands on some new promotional images for “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse”. Some are definitely very cool, while others are a bit out there, I’m looking at you Kingpin. But check out the international poster above. I guess in France it is called “Spider-Man: New Generation”. I’m really not a fan of either titles, but hopeful this movie will be really good. Love the animation. Check out the images from the calendar below:

Marvel Wallpaper: “Civil War”
I came across this looking for some new wallpaper for my laptop and I fell in love with this. This is a recreation of the famous airport scene from “Captain America: Civil War”. The movie “Captain America: Civil War” was loosely based on the Marvel Comics series “Civil War”. What I find interesting about this is that this depiction is based on the movie and not the comic. Kind of surprised that Marvel didn’t just do an adaption of the movie for the comics, but if they did, I would hope that it looked something like this.

“Weapon X”
No Hot Toys this time, it’s a company called Kotobukiya, but this statue is still pretty hot! It is Wolverine moments after he received his Adamantium, when he was called Weapon X!
Sideshow and Kotobukiya are proud to present the Weapon X Fine Art Statue!
Sculpted by Erick Sosa, this finely crafted statue depicts a grieving Wolverine who has escaped from the research facility where he was subjected to Experiment X, a brutal experiment that involved bonding the mutant’s skeleton with Adamantium and erasing his memories.
The statue recreates the scene where the fugitive mutant is running down a snowy mountain road after his escape, which is considered to a crucial point in the character’s storyline.
The diorama base is modeled after the harsh winter environment in the remote area of Alberta, Canada where Department K is located.
Although the motif of the statue differs from the statues of the – Danger Room Sessions- series, Weapon X fits perfectly alongside the other X-Men Fine Art Statues.
