There are plenty of ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World, but many of them include fighting massive crowds. Luckily, Disney has announced a New Year’s Eve beach party for Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground that should offer a great alternative for those looking for a more relaxing way to ring in the new year.
On December 31, 2018 guests can partake in the Fort Wilderness New Year’s Eve Beach Dessert Party on Clementine’s Beach. From there, guests will be treated to a variety of desserts, cheeses, fruits, and drinks, including a selection of beer and wine. From the designated viewing area of the beach, guests will be able to take in the views of Magic Kingdom’s Fantasy in the Sky New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular.
The event starts at 10 p.m. and runs until 12:30 a,m. Pricing starts at $59 for kids ages 3-9 and goes up to $99 for adults (not including tax).
Reservations can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE or online at DisneyWorld.com. Guests should check in upon arrival at Clementine’s Beach and have their ticket for the event on hand. Cancellations must be made up to 120 hours before the event starts, or guests will otherwise risk forfeiting the price of the event.
If you’re looking for another alternative to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World, Disney’s Contemporary Resort will also offer a variety of special events for this momentous occasion.
