As we told you yesterday, the cable installation process has begun for the Disney Skyliner starting at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The project has begun by stringing the guide wires from Studios to the main station at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. These guide wires will help with the installation of the cables that carry the gondolas over the next few days.

The cable installation itself is expected to take place overnight the next few evenings.

We are saving up for our next trip which won’t be till 2021, the big50th celebration of the opening of WDW. This is not stopping our enthusiasm for the cables going up and for when the first passenger boards and rides. I just wish I was that person, but trust me we will be making use of the gondalas on our next trip. Happy riding everyone!!
