There are just a few projects left under construction at Disney Springs. The West Side is seeing the most upheaval currently. Let’s see how things are going.
Jaleo is coming along nicely! It missed its late 2018 target date, but they’re aiming to open as soon as possible.
The signage all looks crisp and clean, and most of the windows have been installed.
The tile adds a nice pop of color to this side of the property.
You can see where they slapped a sticker up to change the “Coming 2018” to “Winter”.
There has been a lot of outward progress on the upcoming NBA Experience that is replacing Disney Quest. They finally started installing the windows on the front of the building.
This hollow space is where the restauraunt is going to go. No sign of progress on that yet, unfortunately.
This brick-style tiling on the far side of the building looks to be finished. The metal bars are mounting for facade decor…
…some of which has already been installed!
No changes to this spot next to Blaze Pizza. It’s soon to be an Orlando Sheriff’s office and a ticket sales center.
Just some sign work going on at the AMC theater. Probably routine maintenance. I’d love to see them update the sign to something newer, though.
The new Grapefruit parking garage is almost done! From a distance, it looks exactly like the other two garages.
The pedestrian walkway for it will be near Basin and World of Disney. This should open up next month.

Grapefruit garage will feature a new parking spot monitoring system; a upgrade from the system used in Orange and Lime. For the last few weeks, they’ve been upgrading the old garages to the new system as well.

Looks like the exhaust port on the Death Star, in my opinion.
Something is missing…
Aurora! And Cinderella! Their statues are missing in action.
We’ll keep our eyes out for them and keep you updated.
Merchandise Updates
If you’re looking for the Duncan yo-yo stand, it has moved! In its spot is a new Arribas Bros. stand.
The yo-yos have moved over behind STK.
Didn’t wait in line for the release of the new Alice Tea Party Funko Pop? Well, no problem! They have plenty of them left.

Have you been to the Twenty Eight & Main booth at the Co-Op recently? Don’t bother. It’s mostly generic Disney menswear now.
The Twenty Eight & Main line (which I loved dearly) appears to have been quietly discontinued.
They still have the socks, though.

Over at The Art of Disney, they still have a couple of actual production drawings for sale. Really cool to see this stuff in person.
They’ve also started carrying a selection of autographs from various Disney voice actors.
Not a terrible deal, as autographs go.
Greg McCullough has vacated this spot near Rainforest Cafe. No word on what will replace it.
Thanks for the update, enjoyed it
Not a fan of the change to a more generic look at World of Disney. The old store was incredible looking. Now the princess statues are gone. Why take the “Disney” out of a Disney store on Disney property? My daughter always wants a picture with those princess statues every year when we go to Disney.
What are those items that have Buzzy on them?
Magnets. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. Found in the Wonderground Gallery.
