Valentine’s Day can actually be a fun day to go to a Disney park. Whether you have someone to go with or not, there’s usually something unique happening that’s worth checking out. For example, this year, for one day only, several Disney Princesses were joined at their meet and greet locations by their Princes!

Here you can see Jasmine with Aladdin. He’s all dressed in his finest for the occasion!

Aurora was with her Prince Phillip just for Valentine’s Day.

There was quite a line for this couple. You don’t see Prince Phillip very often. Also: Aurora’s gazebo is back! It had been behind construction walls for a couple months in preparation for the upcoming Ratatouille attraction.

I ran into several Cast Members today holding cute little Valentine’s Day cards themed to whatever area they were in. This French Cast Member told me I was “The joy of her life!” Very sweet, though a little forward considering I had never met her before.

This one was a little funnier. I will gladly be a secret agent for Perry the Platypus any day.

The Mistukoshi Department Store in the Japan pavilion is always prepared for any holiday. They dug up every pink item they had in stock for the front table.

I took a quick look at the construction for the upcoming restaurant in the Japan Pavilion while I was there. They brought in a small crane as they continue building the cinderblock walls.

Quick update in The American Adventure. The presidential photos had been relegated to a bin on the floor in the corner. I’m happy to report they’re back up on the shelf where they belong!

Also for Valentine’s Day only, the Fountain View Starbucks had a few treats to mark the occasion. This cute Lady and the Tramp cupcake (which I enjoyed quite a bit), and a Valentine’s Day sugar cookie.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for romantic couples. It’s a celebration of friendship, too! No one has a better friendship than Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck-it Ralph. You can meet them at their new digs in the Imagination! Pavilion now.

While I was out and about, I also noticed this construction wall over by World Traveler near International Gateway. Not sure what it’s for, but we’ll keep out eyes on it.

Valentine’s Day can’t last forever, though. With the Epcot International Festival of the Arts nearing its end, work is underway for the 2019 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival!

They’ve started to plant some of the flower quilts. By the time the festival starts, these will have grown in and be in full bloom.
