The construction area close to Norway has looked the same for a few weeks now. A crane sits on the barge and there are a few construction pieces sitting to the rear left of this photo.

These men were working on a mostly wooden structure being built around the center of the lagoon.

Closer to the Japan side, the vertical construction has began with this new structure that will alter the views of the World Showcase Lagoon quite a bit when completed. A large tarp with an excavator on top sits just behind it. It is unclear what all of these elements will be used for at this time.

Work for this new nighttime show is picking up and we are seeing new progress each week, but will it be worth losing IllumiNations for this new offering?

As always, WDWNT will continue providing construction updates on the new nighttime show and more!
