Today was a big day at the Disneyland Hotel. In addition to the reopening of the Tangaroa Terrace, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar unleashed two new drinks and 4 NEW SOUVENIR MUGS all at once!
Tangaroa Cooler ($38 for drink and souvenir mug)
The Tangaroa Cooler is a completely new drink and mug for Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar as of today.
So, what’s in it?
Our thoughts: it’s super strong until it sat and we mixed the mint in and then it was much more enjoyable. It’s hard to pinpoint an exact “flavor” other than gin, but we could taste a bit of the almond syrup.
Sea Monster’s Embrace ($58 for drink and souvenir bowl)
The Sea Monster’s Embrace is a new sharable drink and souvenir bowl that also debuted today.

Our thoughts: The Sea Monster’s Embrace is mild and fruity. It has a light aftertaste of alcohol, but overall well masked. If it wasn’t a Disney bar, we’d title it “College and Bad Decisions”. It should be a new favorite of the fan-favorite establishment.
NEW 4th Edition Krakatoa Punch and 4th Edition Shrunken Zombie Head Mugs – ($38 for drink and souvenir mug)
Two existing drinks, the Krakatoa Punch and the Shrunken Zombie Head, received 4th edition mugs amount the chaos of today’s celebration.
So, what mugs and drinks will you be getting on your next visit?
i hope Sea Monster’s Embrace makes it to florida before i do in march.
All of the other souvenir mug drinks have an experience happen with them when they are served. Did they take the place of any of the current ones or are they new and there are new experiences?
Not ever mug has an effect, the Piranha Pool doesn’t do anything. Neither do these, sadly.
