It’s that magical time of year once again when the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns. Berry Patch may look familiar, but it’s technically a new booth this year. It’s a variation of the menu from last year’s Strawberry Patch booth.
Berry Patch
Strawberry & Coconut Rice “Frushi” with Sweet Oikos Yogurt Wasabi Sauce – $5.50
This was a great, not-too-sweet dessert dish, with a fun presentation. The flavor reminds us of the Rice Cream at Epcot’s Norway pavilion, but we’d still take that over this at $4.50.
Fresh California Berry Pie – $5.75
This pie is great! It tastes like fresh berries and happiness. The crust is a little difficult to cut through, though. We’d definitely get this again.
Strawberry Float with Vanilla Ice Cream, Whipped Cream and Crunchy Cereal Garnish (non-alcoholic) – $6.50
The float tastes like generic fruit juice. It would’ve been better as an alcoholic drink, to be honest. The cereal topping is great and helps add texture. The juice tastes much better with the scoops of ice cream. Overall, we wouldn’t really get this again.
