REVIEW: New Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake from All-Star Movies Resort

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’re on the hunt for the most romantic and delicious snacks we can find. The World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies Resort has blended together a beautiful new shake just in time.

Chocolate covered strawberry milkshake

The Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake is a strawberry milkshake topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a chocolate covered strawberry. It’s $9.99, but it’s served in a souvenir cup that you get to keep. The edge of the glass has a hard chocolate shell coating. It’s too thin to be bitten off and really serves no purpose. You can’t eat it. You can’t break it off and add it to the shake. It’s just going to be a pain to get off the souvenir mason jar later. I digress.

It didn’t take long for the huge chocolate covered strawberry to start sinking into the whipped cream. Strawberry shake oozed over the sides of the cup and down my hands as I paid and made my way to a table. Maybe this isn’t as romantic as I thought.

The chocolate covered strawberry was fresh and delicious. Definitely enough to share with someone if you really wanted.

Yummy strawberry!

The milkshake has a strong taste of strawberry. Unfortunately, the chocolate is a fail. The only chocolate flavoring was from the drizzle on the whipped cream. The chocolate on the inside is pretty solid, so it doesn’t add any flavor. I was left disappointed in the lack of chocolate flavor to a shake, but it’s still a good shake. And you get to keep the cup.
