A few weeks ago, we spotted some Skyliner gondolas on their first voyage across Walt Disney World. The Skyliner’s been in testing ever since, sending actual passenger gondolas (not the tester bucket gondolas) across the lines installed throughout the resort.
Things have been progressing fast for this secondary highway in the sky, especially as we near the Fall 2019 opening of the Skyliner. Today, we caught some gondolas moving at full speed across the parking lot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Check them out in motion as they launch from the main station at Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
The gondolas are still covered with tarps to protect their exterior designs during testing, but if you look closely (and we mean really closely) you can see some of the designs outlined through the tarps.
What do you think about the gondolas now that you see them at full technical capacity?
