Just yesterday, we witnessed Disney Skyliner gondolas zooming across the parking lot at full speed over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We also got a closer look at their designs through the existing tarps.

Today, we have an up-close look at the gondolas jetting out of the main station at Hollywood Studios, as well as door opening tests (you know, to ensure that no guests end up trapped in these sauna-like contraptions.) You can see as gondolas make their way in and around the station, slowing down to allow for the loading process, and then having doors close back up before departure.

Many have expressed surprise at just how fast these are moving, a reassuring sign of an effective, speedy mode of transportation coming soon between resorts, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
