Registration is now open for this year’s runDisney Virtual 5K Series. In celebration of Marvel’s 80th anniversary each medal accompanying the three challenges is designed after a Marvel Super Hero.
Spanning from June 1 to August 31, there are three challenges participants will have the opportunity to take on. Those that complete all three will earn a bonus medal, plus a commemorative “Challenge” coin.
Here’s a look at the Captain Marvel medal.
Black Panther also has a stylish medal offered to those that participate in the August 5K event.
The dates for each event along with the event’s respective super hero theme are as follows:
- Virtual June 5K: Captain Marvel
- Virtual July 5K: Iron Man
- Virtual August 5K: Black Panther
- Challenge: Marvel’s 80th Anniversary
The pricing for any individual event is $45 per runner, and those daring enough to take on the “Virtual Challenge” will have to pay $145. For more information about the various events, and to register, just follow the link here.
