Narrow Pathway Behind Cinderella Castle To Be Widened

If you’re a fan of the narrow (I like to call it romantic) pathway that connects the area of Fantasyland (back where Cinderella Fountain is) to Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square, please be advised that it will be undergoing improvements and being widened for better traffic flow.

The area is set to be widened to avoid bottlenecking in the area. Guests in this area usually have to walk single file if there are two streams of walking traffic going.

Since this area borders the nearby Cinderella Castle moat, that area will also be drained and refurbished simultaneously.

While improvements to the area are much welcome in times of increased park attendance, we do hope the walkway maintains its quaint benches. It would be a shame to lose such a prime duck-watching spot.
