Calling all superheroes, get ready to assemble as new details have been released for the epic 2019 Marvel Summer of Super Heroes celebration at Disneyland Paris!

The season will run from March 23rd to June 16th at the Walt Disney Studios park. All of our favourite Guardians and Avengers will be featured, including both Groot and Captain Marvel for the first time!

Special activities will include face painting (at an extra charge), a heroic encounter with Captain Marvel, a dance party featuring Star Lord and Gamora (plus some 70s and 80s bangers), and some jaw-dropping stunt performances. For a taste of how epic this celebration is likely to be, read our full photo report of the 2018 season here.

The brand new logo for the epic Marvel: Super Heroes United spectacular

The feature we may be the most excited for, however, is the return of the show “Marvel: Super Heroes United”. This stunt spectacular sees our favourite heroes battle together live to defeat Thanos. This year, we have been promised a bigger and better performance, with a new logo, new sound effects and much more. Thor will grace us with his presence, and the spectacular flying object (last year a car) has been re-worked to be an electrifying spectacle. The light show has been redesigned by Tim Lutkin, whose previous work includes the Mickey and the Magician show. Finally, we’re assured that the final battle will be even more epic, with each hero having his or her own moment to amaze. Excited? So are we.

Here’s our video of the full performance from last year…

Will you be attending this awesome season? Which hero are you most excited to meet? Let us know!
