We decided to venture over to Animal Kingdom recently and take in the beautiful scenery. We picked an exciting day to be there, too, because we were able to catch the a showing of Bollywood Beats!
Watching Bollywood Beats perform was really fantastic. They had amazing energy and engaged the crowd during the performance. The music is catchy and the dancers are very talented. Towards the end of the performance, the dancers invite guests to join them and learn some Bollywood dance moves. After watching them perform, you might just be inspired to get up there, too. You can catch their performances daily on the small stage located across from the Anandapur theatre where UP: A Great Bird Adventure takes place.
After the show, we spotted a quiet little bar near the waterfront. Many stands had lines, but this little cart is tucked away in the shade off the main path. You can also pick up some souvenirs, like fans and scarves, while you’re there. Or even get a Henna tattoo!
Fichwa! Fellow. As we made our way through Africa, we stopped to see our favorite wall and listen to some beautiful music being performed in Harambe.
We’ve been watching and reporting on the upcoming otter exhibit for some time now, so we were thrilled to see the new signage outside. The wooden sign for “Otter Grotto” has an otter carved along the bottom. I also laughed when I read “Supported by Otterbox”. I can’t wait to see the otters when this opens.
Kali River Rapids is still under refurbishment. They’ve covered all the signage around the entrance to the attraction. Hopefully, this helps cut down on the number of times the Cast Member has to explain that they’re closed.
These new ears are simple, but beautiful. The ears are a mint sequins, and the bow is a light glittery pink. The bow is very stiff and sturdy with a thick, textured layer of glitter.
I spotted my favorite little pig in Pillow Pet form. Moana’s sidekick Pua will make the perfect addition to my plush collection. He’s just $29.99. If you buy two or more, they’re just $24 each. Who can say no to that deal?
Some dinosaurs were spotted in an epic battle in the gift shop. Not that it makes much difference who wins.
Time to take a little walk and enjoy the scenery. The bright blue sky is the perfect backdrop for taking photos around the park.
I spotted a few of my favorite animal friends.
We even found Pocahontas walking around enjoying the lush greenery around us.
We made our way back to Asia.
It’s been a long day, but we were very thankful to have been able to see Bollywood Beats today, as well as many of our character and animal friends!. We’ll definitely be stopping by to watch them again next time we’re at Animal Kingdom. Stay tuned for our next photo report from Animal Kingdom!
