*NEW* Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread (GF) (V) (KA) – $5.50
Seasoning on this corn on the cob is good, but nothing special. Corn on the cob is usually street food for fairs and flea markets, so it feels like there was a lack of effort/ingenuity in creating a dish for this booth. They could’ve done sliders or something, I don’t know. At the end of the day this is just… corn. At least it takes a good photo.
*NEW* Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, Creamy Herb Dressing (V) – $5.50
Be warned that this dish is served… well, without a dish. While we get that it’s supposed to be “portable” food, it’s hard if you intend on sharing these or cutting in them in half, or just need to rest your food on a surface that may or may not be a trash can. That being said, the meatball had a lot of flavor and all toppings complimented dish well. While definitely new for many guests, the lentil bread pretty much tasted like any flatbread.
*NEW* Chocolate Pudding Terrarium with Avocado Cream, Matcha Crumb, Pomegranate and Baby Herbs (GF) (V) – $5.00
Here’s one we’re seeing all over Instagram. The pudding takes a great photo, what with all the colorful toppings and all, but the flavors here just don’t work. There’s a thick layer of chocolate pudding, followed by chia seeds, and then the toppings, but none of the flavors mesh well. Each individual aspect of the dish tastes good, just not when you put it all in one spoonful. However, unlike the corn on the cob, we appreciate their creativity here.
*NEW* suja® Organic Cold Pressed Juice: Noon Greens™ (non-alcoholic) – $5.50
suja® Organic Cold Pressed Juice: Vibrant Probiotic (non-alcoholic) – $5.50
Health-conscious park guests may enjoy that these juices are available here, but why bottled beverages one can get virtually anywhere are offered as a specific booth item/creation, we don’t know. The pink probiotic drink is a good starting point for guests unfamiliar with strong-tasting green drinks. (That Noon Greens drink could be a Beverly contender.)
*NEW* Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea featuring Twinings of London® (non-alcoholic) – $4.25
*NEW* Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea featuring Twinings of London® with Tito’s Handmade Vodka served in a Mason Jar – $15.00
Everyone agreed that this tasted more like a lemonade than a tea. All in all, it was refreshing, but why pay $15 for a plastic mason jar when you can purchase an Orange Bird Sipper for $14 instead?
*NEW* Playalinda Brewing Company Tropical Wonderland Wheat Ale, Titusville, FL (4.5% ABV)
Playalinda Brewing Company describes their Tropical Wonderland Wheat Ale as an “American wheat ale bursting with juicy orange flavor.”
