If you were one of the lucky few to snag a reservation at one of the three official Disneyland Resort hotels for the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, then your Monday is about to get a whole lot better.
In an communication sent out to travel agents earlier today, Disney has announced that guests who have already booked a stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels from May 31st to June 23 will receive an email with details about their reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The instructions will be sent to the email address on file for the reservation. Each registered guest will receive a reservation time to view the land for the very first time. Guests will have a total of four hours in the land during their sole reservation period. If they leave before the four hours is up, they cannot re-enter.

For guests who are not staying in a Disneyland Resort hotel, reservation information has yet to be released, but per the communication, should be “coming soon.”
On par with their recent attempt to push Resort hotel reservations, Disney also made a point to reiterate that rooms are still available from May 31st to June 23, and that booking a room and ticket package “is still the best option for helping guests secure access to the new land during this time.”
I just got my email…but my reservation time says May 30 11-3pm …is that a mistake?…or is there some early special event I don’t know about?
Any news or rumors on how WDW Galaxy’s Edge access at Hollywood Studios will work yet? Do we have any inclination when Rise of the Resistance will open?
Galaxy’s Edge reservation messed up- The reservation we were given does not correspond with our hotel stay. I have confirmed that my hotel reservation has not changed. Getting through to the Galaxy’s Edge reservation is impossible (was disconnected after 55 minutes on hold). Other Disney staff unable to help. Very disappointed so far…
They made an error with those emails! The dates of stay are wrong which made the Galaxy Edge reservation wrong. I just called their Galaxy Edge reservation number and they are aware of the problem and plan on sending new reservations out. Hope it will be soon!
