Get your party favors, because this week, WDWNTunes is celebrating Pleasure Island!

Thirty years ago, Pleasure Island opened to the delight of many guests. And though its clubs have long been gone, its memory lives on to this day! That’s why WDWNTunes is joining the celebration, which already features the Pleasure Beach event, by launching its own week-long celebration of Pleasure Island!

One of Pleasure Island’s most beloved elements was its daily celebration of New Year’s Eve, and we’re bringing it back in style. From April 22th to April 29th, we will celebrate New Year’s Eve every 12 hours! That’s right, if you tune in at midnight (12AM) or noon (12PM), you’ll be able to countdown to New Years with us!

During that same week, the Disney After Park block––which currently broadcasts music from resorts and shopping districts such as Disney Springs––will be sent back in time to 1989 and become the Pleasure Island Throwback block, featuring music you might have heard while you were dancing the night away at one of the island’s many clubs.

But that’s not all. Our amazing celebration will culminate on April 29th, when Pleasure Island takes over the entire WDWNTunes programming! That’s right, a day-long salute to Pleasure Island, featuring blocks themed to each of the beloved clubs. Get ready to jam along at the Mannequins Dance Palace, laugh the night away at the Comedy Warehouse or hold your glass high and say “KUNGALOOSH!” at the Adventurers Club!
