PHOTO REPORT: Hollywood Studios 4/10/19 (Chinese Theatre Handprints, Photo Ops, Aloha Hat, ETC.)

It’s time to check in on Disney’s Hollywood Studios! I want to take a little time to appreciate this park before the opening of Galaxy’s Edge. Hollywood Studios has a big anniversary coming up, so it’s time to shine. It seems like a lot of things have been getting touched up lately. As soon as I entered the park, I noticed Mickey is still missing.

Why do these random birds always show up in my photos?

The displays by the Chinese Theatre are now covered by curtains.

As we reported before, many of the handprints around the Chinese Theatre are being repaired.

Some of them are in need of serious TLC.

Robin’s handprints include his left and right hand, then another left. His children, Zak and Zelda, also laid their handprints at the time.

I don’t know why, but long lines always fascinate me. This line to meet Goofy looked neat and orderly.

The Sci-Fi car looks so nice and clean! We’re so happy to see it again.

This very nice PhotoPass photographer was taking photos of guests with this adorable Mickey flower prop. It’s a cute prop and a great spot for a photo.

Another great photo op is the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy wall. I found a young racer waving the checkered flag and posing for photos.

I really enjoy watching the Cast Members interacting with the kids and cheering them on during “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!” dance party.

I also spotted some cute merchandise on my travels. There is a happy birthday Stitch plush. When you squeeze his foot, the candles light up and flicker. He was found at Once Upon A Time on Sunset Boulevard for $34.99.

There’s a Dole Whip “Aloha” hat available for $34.99 at one of the outdoor carts. It might be worth the money to protect my skin from sun.

We’ll continue to watch for more updates around the Chinese Theatre.

And of course, stayed tuned to WDWNT for all the latest on the 30th anniversary celebration of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Thanks for joining us!
