It was unusually crowded on this random Thursday afternoon in California Adventure Park. So crowded, that even the The Little Mermaid ride was packed to capacity.

So let’s skip the rides altogether and take a walk around the park. Not surprisingly, the Grizzly River Run ride was not running.

“Inside Out” Emotional Whirlwind Construction

Over at Pixar Pier, the new “Inside Out” themed ride continues to make progress.

It smells like fresh paint and easy to see why as everything is turning purple.

Loving the purple specks that were added to the roller coaster track.

Marvel Land Construction

On the other side of the park we finally have some progress on Marvel Land. Not a whole lot has changed, but after months of nothing but a Stark Industries wall, this is reassuring.

Cranes can be seen from nearly all angles in the park now, and you can see there’s a new structure popping up.

While the endless construction at both parks, Downtown Disney and the parking structure have been an eyesore… it is great to see the progress when it is done. What are you most looking forward to?
