REVIEW: Minnie’s Cookie Dough Sundae at Storybook Treats in the Magic Kingdom

New to the slew of treats at the Magic Kingdom is Minnie’s Cookie Dough Sundae at Storybook Treats! If you’ve read any of our reviews from today, you’ll know that some of these treats are a minor (some major) letdown. (We’re lookin’ at you, Tangled Éclair!) If you aren’t prepared for further disappointment, then we suggest you stop reading now.

Just kidding. We know you couldn’t help it. Unfortunately, the Minnie’s Cookie Dough Sundae is another case of false advertising. Disney made it look like we were going to get two dense scoops of cookie dough, but instead, here’s what you get:

Two sad, measly-looking pucks of cookie dough.

The Minnie bow is the only thing that makes this sundae stand out, but beyond that, it’s basically just vanilla ice cream and hot fudge.

All that being said, we can’t really recommend this sundae.

It isn’t particularly pretty, and, we’re sorry to say this, Minnie… but it’s just #basic.

The sundae is available through June at Storybook Treats for $6.49.

Sadly, it seems like lots if Disney’s new snack offerings are made to cater to the Instagram set. They looks great, but don’t taste good. I’d rather something not look over the top, but taste great.
