If you and your family are big fans of the Wilderness Explorers in-park activities and games, be aware that times are changing for the popular, free adventure challenge.

Starting June 2, 2019, hours for the Wilderness Explorers are being adjusted from a 9:00 AM opening time on select dates to a 10:00 AM opening time. (Hours from May 24 to June 1st remain unchanged and start time for the activity is still 9:00 AM on these dates.)

Do note that while you may have to wait a little longer to embark on your adventure challenge, the Wilderness Explorer stations remain open until 7:00 PM every day, allowing for plenty of time to explore the wilderness.

The Wilderness Explorer challenge is a self-guided activity scattered all throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom. To participate, explorers of all ages visit over 25 kiosks, completing simple tasks to earn a matching badge at each station.
