The claaaaw! If you’ve ever wanted to live out your dreams of playing the epic Space Crane claw machine from Pizza Planet in Toy Story, now you can, with this miniature copy of it. And yes, it actually works.

Pizza Planet Alien “Space Crane” Claw Machine – $49.99

That’s right, this fully functional claw machine is now available at Disney Parks. The packaging is adorable, too. It features Woodie, Jessie, and cute Little Green Man.

The back shows you how it works. Basically like any claw machine! You guide the claw over to your desired toy (all tiny Little Green Men, in this case) and press the button to plunge it down.

We found a few of them over at Knick’s Knacks in Disney California Adventure. They’re quite possibly the best thing to happen to Pixar Pier.

Best of all, they had a model of the crane out so you could play with it and try it out.

The funny thing is, they had the prize pick-up flap taped up. No free toys here! No coins or credits required to play, thankfully.

We managed to give it a few tries and got a Little Green Man! It’s a pretty strong claw for being a toy. The space crane stands about 13 inches tall and runs on three AA batteries.

We spotted a few of these over at Epcot’s MouseGear over on the East Coast, as well! This would be a fun addition to any office, den, or living room, and seem endlessly fun to play with. The Space Crane mini claw machine retails for $49.99.

Will you be choosing this claw machine to add to your Toy Story collection?

If this is anything like (or is in fact the same as) the one that was available years ago…sorry, it is a piece of garbage not worth buying. Ours did not last. The outside plastic held up fine. Perhaps an impact (remember this is a kid toy) caused the plastic gears inside to literally fall out and it no longer works. For the price it is not worth it.
