Lava Dog – $9.79

If you’re looking to feast on an indulgent hot dog, this is a good option. We were surprised to find that we enjoyed it. First of all, the bread was so soft. It was toasted, but not too much that it’s tough to eat. And the hot dog itself was super juicy and flavorful.

As far as the pulled pork, Teriyaki sauce, and pineapple salsa––incredible. The pulled pork was so tender and not at all fatty. The Teriyaki sauce and pineapple salsa really complemented the pork and gave it a light, fruity flavor. To be honest, I found myself wanting to eat just the toppings instead of the whole hot dog, that’s how delicious the toppings were.

Lava Fries – $8.49

Similar to the Lava Dog, the fries are also topped with pulled pork, Teriyaki sauce, and pineapple salsa. Again, these toppings were amazing and I really enjoyed them on the filmstrip fries. The only complaint I have is that there wasn’t enough Teriyaki sauce, so the meat and fries weren’t as juicy as they should have been. I’d still order this again, just ask for more sauce on top.

Sorcerer Mickey Funnel Cake Fries – $7.99

This is the one specialty item we will not be trying again. For as cute as it looks, it sure was a disappointment. The cookies and cream sauce, red and yellow icings, and blue whipped cream were great, if not really sugary. But the Oreo cookies were stale and chewy. And the funnel cake fries were really tough to chew, too. At first, they seem soft. But it was nearly impossible to bite them apart.

All I can say about this is: Do NOT eat these things very often, perhaps once every couple of months. Frequently ingesting these items can put you on the road to clogged arteries at the very LEAST!

You are beyond ridiculous coming on here and judging theme park food. Do you honestly believe people aren’t intelligent enough to know these aren’t healthy? No one asked for your guidance. People are allowed to eat whatever they want, whenever they want it, and they don’t need an arrogant, self-righteous buzzkill lecturing them on their health and the future of their well-being. If you are so deeply offended by the concept of foods that are eaten for pleasure and not their nutritional value, don’t click on the article and read it. Just staying in your bubble and allow others to… Read more »

You say the funnel cake looks cute. I would say it looks horribly untasty.
