Back in September 2018, we announced that a new poolside bar was in development at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. And after 10 months of anticipation, the new Craftsman Bar is set to soft open tomorrow! Here’s a tour of the new poolside bar, as well as a look at the full food and drink menu.
Craftsman Bar
This new bar area is quite large and fits right in with the craftsman theming of the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. We think guests, especially all you dads out there, will appreciate the TVs at the bar top.
The bar is set right up against the Mariposa Pool, offering stunning views of the water and surrounding trees for guests who want to enjoy a cocktail or two.
Full Food and Drink Menus
The food and drinks menus offer an extensive selection for guests to choose from. And you don’t need to be a guest of the hotel to enjoy the Craftsman Bar! All Disneyland Resort guests are welcome to dine or drinks some cocktails are this new poolside bar. Little ones are also welcome, and the menus have kids meals and nonalcoholic drink options.
The drink menu is beautiful and one of our personal favorites at the Resort.
If you’re looking for an afternoon pick-me-up with caffeine, there are coffee and tea cocktails available.
And if cocktails aren’t your thing, there are plenty of wine and beer options on the menu.
The grand opening of the new Craftsman Bar is set for next week, but be sure to stop by for the soft opening tomorrow. Are you looking forward to checking out this new dining experience at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa?
This is how to add a bar that fits the theme of the resort. The Grand Floridian at WDW should take note.
A nice enough addition, Grand Californian is still a bit pricey if you ask me.
I’m beyond fired up for this!
Living 95 miles from DLR, I’ve been visiting & loved the Grand Cal & especially it’s pool area since it opened.
But I’ve always wanted a pool bar.
Now that this sweet location is opening, it’s time to book another stay.
I’m so excited for this! I had heard from other sites and comments on social media this wouldn’t be open to everyone, only hotel guests, which wouldn’t make sense compared to all the other Disney hotel bars. Can’t wait for a review, this may be on our list for our next DLR trip.
They lost me at $21 nachos & the lack of shade. Pass
