Welcome! While our last Magic Kingdom pathway widening project update was just a few days ago, we caught some drastic changes while making our rounds around the park today and we just had to show you! Let’s take a look.
The brickwork around the new path is nearing completion. We noticed workers paining and adding the finishing touches on both the red and gray bricks, which give it the look of real brick.
Here’s a better look at the different types of brick being used for the project.
There’s a little splatter of paint toward the end of the path, oops! Underneath that, we can see some nice new rockwork also.
The path stretches about halfway between the bridge and castle before coming to an end.
Over on the far side, part of the pathway has been laid. You can clearly see the difference between the dirt path and the now laid concrete pathway.
Closer up, the pathway is still very much under construction. It is easy to see how wide it will be when completed. This will greatly help with crowd flow at the Magic Kingdom and overall enhance the guest experience.
Stay tuned to WDWNT.com for the latest on this project and more from around the resort!
