Another week, another churro based on an Infinity Stone. We’ve tried the Power Stone Churro and the Reality Stone Churro, both of which failed to impress us. And now a new addition, the Soul Stone Churro, is available in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure. Sadly, this is yet another churro we’d like to see snapped back out of existence.

Soul Stone Churro – $5.75

Thankfully you only need to trade money for this churro, because it’s not worth the cost of life. This churro is rolled in orange-flavored sugar and topped with icing and orange rock candy. Despite putting off an orange smell, there’s very little orange taste to this churro, much like the cherry-flavored Reality Stone Churro.

But the orange flavor, or lack thereof, isn’t what makes this churro a dud. It’s the rock candy. Please, for the love of your teeth, do not eat the rock candy. The pieces are huge and as hard as real rocks. I thought for sure I was going to break a tooth after the first bite of rock candy, and my teeth still hurt several hours later.

If you’re craving a churro, skip the Soul Stone Churro and go for a traditional one instead. Your wallet and your teeth will thank you.

Eeew. Can’t believe this made it past the planning stages . Recipe for disaster– Kid begs for it, parent finally gives in and buys it, kid won’t eat it, anger results. For what they charge for those things, it’s inevitable.
