A new seasonal burger has popped up on the menu over at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs. The Pepperoni Pizza Burger sounds like it could be the perfect meal for when you can’t decide what you’re craving. Will this be the perfect marriage of two classic foods? Let’s find out!

The Pepperoni Pizza Burger is your signature D-Luxe burger patty, topped with artisan pepperoni, fried mozzarella, pomodoro sauce, and lettuce on a focaccia roll. It’s available for $13.49.

The burger is cooked to order, and we requested ours medium. It comes wrapped perfectly for easier, handheld dining. There’s even a tomato on top of the roll.

We noticed there was a lot of sauce on the end with the wrapper, so we took the whole thing out to investigate further. The focaccia roll was a little soggy with pomodoro sauce on one end, and dry on the other.

The fried mozzarella and the lettuce stand out mostly, so we had to do a little searching to find the pepperoni.

The fried mozzarella is amazing. There’s a plentiful amount, and it serves as the star of the burger.

The pomodoro sauce is light, and gives just a little bit of flavor to the burger. It’s not an overpowering taste, and we wish there had been more. The portions that looked soggy actually had the best taste. The other side was dry. Giant bites of mozzarella, burger, and bread need a little more sauce to get through, though.

The pepperoni doesn’t really stand out either, and there isn’t very much, but it’s nice when you can get a bite of everything going on. The mozzarella is really delicious, so if you like mozzarella sticks, this is a can’t miss meal.

The new Pepperoni Pizza Burger is a seasonal offering, so will only be around for a limited time. Will you be trying this one on your next visit to Disney Springs?
