The unplanned refurbishment of Magic Kingdom’s Astro Orbiter has been extended through September 19, 2019. Originally closed in mid July, the issues plaguing the attraction seem to be more serious than previously thought.
Astro Orbiter was originally scheduled to reopen today, but that obviously did not happen. Much like Primeval Whirl at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests should be wary that the scheduled reopening of the attraction may be pushed back in the near future.
September 20, 2019 is the planned reopening date for Astro Orbiter at this time.
