Be it Jakku or Batuu, it’s five o’clock somewhere. And now it’s almost time to pony up to Oga’s Cantina and order some libations––or in this case, some provisions.
As we’ve seen so far, menus across Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are nearly identical between the two parks, with the main exceptions being pricing (things are actually surprisingly more expensive at Walt Disney World) and the addition of even more alcoholic offerings due to differing alcohol regulations.
Just yesterday, reservations opened for the popular Cantina, and menus have also been further updated.
The menu update brings with it the addition of a new “Provision with Alcohol” named the Rodian Ration, which contains Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Dekuyper Pucker Sour Apple, Sprite, and Boba Balls “with a Pop”.
Given that it’s labeled as a provision and not a cocktail, you could say it is the alcoholic equivalent of Oga’s Obsession, the other boba dessert on the menu. This tasted like jello with boba in it, and it’s good if you are in the mood for a refreshing, gelatinous dessert. The addition of alcohol basically makes this a jello shot.
We reviewed this dessert during our grand opening day review of breakfast, snacks, and most specialty cocktails on the menu at Oga’s. You can check it out by clicking here.
Other boozy additions to Batuu at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are Blue and Green Milk Coolers, as well as two new alcoholic mixed drinks at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo and Ronto Roasters.
You could say the Travelers on this edge of the galaxy tend to take their provisions very seriously. Are you looking forward to trying all that Black Spire Outpost has to offer?
Cue the “Alcohol doesn’t belong at Disney” Mafia. Some of these drinks look really good!!
