Since our last Guardians of the Galaxy construction update, we’ve seen some great new progress on the roofing around the building, and interior construction is now underway! Let’s take a look.
Barricading and safety railings are being put into place around the roofing as it begins work. There are still a few more parts left to be installed.
Overhead, there is a crane which seems to be helping with the new roofing. This picture also shows a good look a the initial roof work happening around the building.
It currently stretches about halfway across the building.
Looking into the show building now, we see initial interior construction beginning. It appears that a second level is under construction.
You can see support beams at the bottom, as well as a platform with more beams above it.
Exterior work is progressing with the paint on the sides of the building.
From the Epcot monorail station, there is another hole in the building which interior construction is visible.
Here, you can see a cherry picker as well as a ladder leading to the second level.
Finally, here’s a look at the launch tunnel which connects the two buildings.
Progress is assumably continuing forward within the now almost completely sealed attraction.
As always check back with WDWNT.com for the latest on the Guardians of the Galaxy Rollercoaster construction and more around Epcot and beyond.
