I wouldn’t buy it because of so many prominent “50’s.” They should have worked that in more subtly. However, I wouldn’t spend that much on a purse anyway! Without the numbers it would have been kind of nice.

Agreed. You can advertise 50th Anniversary in multiple ways without ruining the actual bags. Hundreds for this satchel is as ridiculous as being gouged for a flimsy Vera.

This could have been their best selling design, if not for plastering the unsightly numbers all over it – who wants that? The vintage look is great, then a moron marketing bozo has to kill it, thinking people want to spend $400 on a tacky bag that screams 50..50..50..50..YUCK.

The bag was made in purple white and black without the 50s on it several years ago by Dooney and looks waayyy better than this one.
