We may have a new favorite snack cart to visit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is a good thing considering how much time we’ll be spending there in the near future.
We tried the incredibly delicious French Toast Pretzel for breakfast, so we knew the lunch menu needed to be investigated. Meatballs in Marinara with Orzo, Teriyaki Meatballs with Noodles, and a Turkey Sandwich have all been added to the cart of Grand Avenue. We couldn’t decide between marinara or teriyaki, so why not both?
These are nice alternatives to the churros and corn dogs this cart usually offers. Each bowl is $7.99, which is a good price for a meal, considering there are cupcakes out there that are just as expensive.
They come in cute little compostable containers with lids for easy grab-and-go meals. These would be a nice option to snack on while waiting for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Marinara Meatballs with Orzo Pasta – $7.99
The marinara meatballs are piled high in the container. We can’t see the orzo pasta yet, but we can see there are three huge meatballs covered in sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
A little digging reveals the orzo pasta underneath. It’s a pretty good-sized portion and the meatballs were surprisingly good. The marinara sauce had a hearty taste, which helped out the orzo pasta. The orzo was a little soggy at the bottom, but stirring it together with the sauce helped a lot. We would definitely get this again.
Teriyaki Meatballs with Noodles – $7.99
The teriyaki meatballs were completely different from the marinara. The teriyaki sauce taste is strong and sweet. It’s a lot lighter taste than the marinara, so if you’re looking for a less heavy meal in the heat, go with the teriyaki.
You can spot the noodles a little easier here. They’re firm and tasty, and thoroughly coated in teriyaki. There was a good amount of teriyaki sauce at the bottom, too.
Both of these meatball options can be found at the Grand Avenue cart outside of Galaxy’s Edge. They’re quick and easy, and ready to go. These make a delicious alternative to hot dogs and popcorn everywhere, and we truly appreciate it!
Did you happen to see what the turkey sandwich looked like? Hot? cold?
