Bright Suns! Today we found ourselves at Disney’s Hollywood Studios again, we just can’t get enough of this place! Let’s take a look at what has changed over the past couple of days.

Let’s start out in the front of the park. This was the morning of the first day of the Disney Skyliner Cast Member previews. As you can see, there was quite the line! We were impressed however that this line cleared in under 10 minutes, hopefully that loading time holds true once it opens to public! Read more about this first day here!

Upon entering the park, we discovered that Mickey’s of Hollywood had still not reopened, the only change was the addition of this curtain in the top window.

Over at Keystone Clothiers, we met Peter the Porg from Batuu. He didn’t have any good pins to trade, sadly.

Over at Once Upon a Time on Sunset Blvd., there’s still plenty of Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day merchandise to choose from.

Over at Animation Courtyard, the new paint scheme project that we have been tracking has seemed to come to a halt. The ceiling above the Character Corner and the breezeway around the corner remain the same previous terracotta color. See the photos below for a closer look.

Here’s one of the newer billboards at the park, promoting American Idol on ABC. This is located across from ABC Commissary.

We checked in on the restroom expansion over near Star Tours, no changes to the exterior yet. You can hear work going on inside, however.

Over on Batuu, we ran into Chewie, Rey, and a friend doing some repairs on an X-Wing. This is a much more immersive way for guests to see characters than your traditional scheduled stage shows that we all have become used to over the years.

Chewie needed help identifying a part, it actually only looked like bottle cap, if you ask us!

Today, the Ronto Roasters Droid was moving his head, but that was it. Not much progress to his repairs, it seems.

Time to check on Dok-Ondar…

Inside Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, we discovered that the Red Sith Kyber Crystals had sold out late the previous night, and remained that way into today.

There were, however, still plenty of purple, blue, green, yellow and white kyber crystals in stock!

Over at Docking Bay 7, the breakfast crowd was fairly low. This is a good time of day if you want to just go see what the restaurant looks like inside!

There was a whole different story over at Oga’s Cantina. There was quite a queue of guests waiting to get in, this unusual for the early morning time.

We also stopped at the Droid Depot where we found R2-D2 fully active and rolling around the store.

We always have to stop to say hello to the Loth-Cat at the Creature Stall located in the Batuu Marketplace, before heading back to Earth. She is cute, but also feisty!

Here is a look at some breakfast options just outside of Galaxy’s Edge at the cart located in front of the entrance to Grand Ave. home of Muppet Vision 3-D.

No trip to Hollywood Studios would be complete without at least passing through Toy Story Land.

We think is one of the funniest displays in Toy Story Land, look what poor old Rex has gotten himself into this time! He can’t even grab onto anything because, well you know why…

As we headed out for the day, the crowds were starting to pour in. This was definitely going to be a busy day at Hollywood Studios!

Thanks for reading, and stay tuned! Til the Spire.
