Jambo everyone! Today, we took a trip over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to check up on the tram construction. This project began this past May and has been progressing slowly. If you remember from our last update, all of the transportation drop-off locations had been adjusted. Let’s take a look and see what’s new!

I’m afraid for guests walking into the park, the sight isn’t going to be very pretty as everything is completely torn up now and all you see are mounds of dirt.

Behind these scrims is what used to be the guest drop-off and pick-up area. It doesn’t seem that they have made much advancement since our last update.

From this angle, you can see this area has changed significantly since our trip last week. All of the concrete is gone, and everything has been leveled and covered in more dirt. Hopefully, this means they can start laying a new foundation soon.

There hasn’t been a statement released saying when this construction will be done, but honestly, we aren’t betting anytime soon. For now, we’re going to have to put up with seeing mounds of dirt and scrims on our long walk to the entrance to the park. Of course, follow along with us at WDWNT for more updates as this project progresses.
