D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs has brought us some creative burgers lately, so we were excited to see the latest seasonal offering added to the menu. We’ve been making our way around Disney Springs trying out all the new WonderFall Flavor offerings, and have stopped in to try the Oktoberfest Burger.
The Oktoberfest is made with the classic D-Luxe Burger Patty, and topped by a split smoked sausage, stout cheese, and braised red cabbage, served on a Parker House Roll. There’s also lettuce, tomato and grilled onion as well.
We could easily see some of the toppings, but we decided to take a closer look. It’s a really interesting set of toppings! For some reason, I expected the cheese to be more of a liquid, so it was an interesting surprise to see what stout cheese really looked like. The braised red cabbage is delicately placed on top, and looks pretty good! This monster of a burger is 13.49.
We weren’t too sure what to expect taste-wise, but it was delicious! The sausage added a unique flavor with the burger patty, as well as an additional texture. The stout cheese was bold but really good, but we didn’t notice the cabbage flavor as much as we had expected. The sausage upstaged the other toppings here.
There are so many delicious Fall offerings around Disney Springs, you may need to make a list. This burger might not be for everybody, but if you’re feeling adventurous, make sure you stop by D-Luxe Burger and give the Oktoberfest Burger a try!
