Jambo! We decided to take a walk on the wild side and check in on our animal friends at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Let’s see what’s going on!

Construction has been well underway for the new tram loop. The majority of the work completed is excavation.

Animal Kingdom’s new tram loop is a part of Disney’s plan to enhance the guest arrival experience at all of its parks. Currently, Hollywood Studios is the only entrance that’s been fully finished.

Christmas has officially arrived at Discovery Trading Post. It’s holiday merchandise galore!

All Halloween merchandise was pushed outside (in almost a sidewalk sale manner) to make room for Christmas.

Harambe House, Animal Kingdom’s Club 33 location, had its first true theming elements installed today.

The first row of roof thatching was installed. This will match the other roofs in the surrounding area.

We spotted a contractor slinging extra compound onto the exterior walls to add extra texture for a lived-in, weathered feel.

The more boxy portion of the building has been painted a white wash color to match the rest of Harambe Village.

As we traveled further into Africa, we found these Christmas pins at Ziwani Traders. Both pins cost $9.99.

Yes, a cold drink would go down very nicely in this heat!

Colorful lanterns were hung in Asia outside of UP! A Great Bird Adventure Show for the celebration of Diwali. This is one of the first signs of holiday decorations in the park.

In Dino-Land U.S.A., Primeval Whirl was closed due to its now-seasonal operation schedule.

We guess if you’re bummed about it being closed, you can just hula hoop instead. Primeval Whirl will be open starting November 24th to help alleviate some of the Thanksgiving holiday crowds.

We found this water tower by Dino-Bite Snacks wrapped from top to bottom in Christmas lights. This only sign of holiday decorations to appear in Dino-Land. It seems Disney is beginning their holiday decorations in the most inconspicuous sections of the park.

Phew! That about does it for us here at Animal Kingdom. We think we’re going to get that cold drink now! Thanks for hanging out with us!
