Greetings from Disney Springs! We’re at D-Tech On Demand at the Marketplace Co-Op to check out the latest new upgraded Personalization Stations, now featuring “MaDe” branding as part of the upgrades.
The stations now feature larger screens as opposed to those seen, for example, at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. in the Magic Kingdom.
There are eight stations currently available for guests to personalize their design of choice.
Current options include MagicBands or phone cases. Magnets were out of stock when we visited, but they will be available, while supplies last, moving forward.
Here’s a closer look at the new “MaDe” brand logo.
“MaDe” on-demand MagicBands cost $29.99 each, with personalization costing an extra $5.00. Phone cases start at $29.99, plus $5.00 for personalization.
Each design is divided into categories and you simply swipe up and down to scroll between the different categories, or left to right to scroll between different designs.
You can even search for specific keywords to narrow down your options.
We ran a few searches, starting with Stitch MagicBands…
… and moving onto DVC Member phone cases.
Under “C” you’ll find the Carousel of Progress…
… and even a China Mickey.
At the bottom, there are buttons to Start Over, or toggle Back or Next in the personalization process. Do keep in mind that these touch screens are somewhat finicky, and we found ourselves accidentally starting over when we were really just scrolling.
For now, these newly branded “MaDe” personalization stations are currently testing at D-Tech On Demand in Disney Springs, but if they prove to be popular, they will be rolled out to other D-Tech stations across property as a formal rebranding of the device personalization service.
Oh…I spotted an Epcot Magic Band w/Figment & Spaceship Earth that has potential.
I’m guessing it’s still mostly newer iPhone cases.
