Amorette’s Patisserie is a frequent stop for us while we’re visiting Disney Springs, even if we’re just passing through and admiring the beautiful pastries in the case. We spotted a brand new dessert titled “Flavors of South Florida” in the case and it looked just as interesting as it sounded.

This layered dessert combines avocado key lime mousse, strawberry pate de fruit, and caramelized sesame seeds. It’s all topped with boba pearls and a white chocolate piece. Not sure what boba pearls have to do with South Florida, but it looks nice. We weren’t sure about this one at first, but it turned out to be a delicious surprise.

This is a creative dessert for sure but a little pricey at $8. It’s served in a clear cup, allowing you to see each layer, with the caramelized sesame seeds and green avocado key lime mousse standing out most.

It’s amazing. The avocado flavor isn’t overpowering, but is very noticeable, and mixes well with the sesame seeds. The passion fruit flavor from the top layer of boba pearls adds a sweet flavor to the creamy mousse. Towards the bottom, there is a layer of strawberry pate de fruit that adds a lot of sweetness to the mousse and a firmer, contrasting texture.

If you’re a fan of avocados, do not miss this incredible dessert from Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs. It’s a very small portion for the price, but it is a unique and delicious treat.
