Halloween is less than a week away and Disney Springs is celebrating with frightful eats at three of their food trucks, located in Food Truck Park across from the AMC Theater. We’re at the Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet Food Truck to try their Scary Cookie Dough Waffle Taco. Let’s dig in to this scary dessert!

Scary Cookie Dough Waffle Taco – $7.00

This Scary Cookie Dough Waffle Taco combines nitro cold brew cookie dough and pumpkin spice cookie dough inside of a chocolate and sprinkle-coated waffle taco shell. Keeping with the spirit of Halloween, a creepy dark chocolate spider sits atop a “web” of whipped cream.

The waffle taco shell is orange-colored, and while we didn’t notice any unique flavor to it, it was still very soft and fresh. The edges of the taco are dipped in milk chocolate and coated in orange, white, and yellow sprinkles, with milk chocolate is drizzled over the cookie dough.

The pumpkin spice cookie dough reminded us of creamy, smooth pumpkin pie. This had the strongest pumpkin flavor of any of the new limited-time Halloween food truck offerings. The whipped cream and pumpkin spice cookie dough were made for each other, though. The nitro cold brew cookie dough complimented the flavors and helped tone down the strong, sweet pumpkin flavors.
