We love a good bowl of poutine from the Daily Poutine at Disney Springs. This is one of our frequent stops when visiting Disney Springs, so when we spotted a small sign by the register advertising the new Oktoberfest Poutine, we knew we had to try it.
This new item is seasonal, and sounds perfect for the Fall. We tried the Oktoberfest Burger at D-Luxe Burger, so we may as well give these Oktoberfest fries a shot here at the Daily Poutine.
The base is a large portion of french fries, topped with cheese curds, stout gravy, bratwurst, and sauerkraut. The photo on the sign advertising this looks less than appealing, but the meal we were presented was actually lovely. One thing we can always say about the Daily Poutine is that the fries are always fresh and hot. There wasn’t very much sauerkraut, but there were plentiful amounts of all the other toppings. The bratwurst is in nice slices, and the gravy smelled delicious.
This was delicious, and really caught us off-guard. It’s way better than we had anticipated. The bratwurst didn’t have too much taste, but everything else made up for that. The sauerkraut wasn’t overpowering, and there wasn’t an overwhelming amount, which allowed the rich, flavorful gravy and cheese curds to stand out. After all, that’s the best part of poutine.
You can try this amazing dish for $9.99 at Disney Springs for a limited time. The Daily Poutine is located near World of Disney and Amorette’s Patisserie. It’s a delicious new addition to the menu and a great addition for Fall. Will you be giving this one a try?
