This new Halloween cupcake is $5.99 and available from the quick service location at the Polynesian Resort. This chocolate cupcake is topped by layers of purple, orange, and green, all appropriate for a Halloween-themed dessert. Of course, they’ve also put some purple white chocolate Minnie Mouse ears on top to make it cute, too.

We expect chocolate, marshmallow, and nuts from a rocky road cupcake and this treat delivers. When we cut into it, we can see a chocolate mousse layer, marshmallows, and a few slivers of macadamia nuts. What a treat!

The frosting is silky smooth and sweet. It’s not as thick as some cupcake frostings we’ve encountered, which is a nice change. You can see it isn’t piled high with sugar, allowing you to appreciate the rich chocolate cupcake and rocky road filing inside. There’s just enough frosting for the entire cake. The macadamia nuts give just enough of a crunch to notice them, but the chocolate and marshmallow stand out. This cupcake has the perfect amount of all three to really perfect that rocky road taste.

This is a pretty delicious Halloween snack, and just a few stops away from the Magic Kingdom. It’s worth the monorail ride for this delicious treat, but hurry before it’s gone!
