PHOTO REPORT: Disney’s Hollywood Studios 11/2/19 (New Park Icon Starbucks Tumblers, Searching for Holiday Decorations, Construction Updates, and More)
Season’s greetings from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Can we officially say that now since Halloween is over? The start of November can only mean one thing…Christmas decorations! We’re officially on the look out for them. Let’s see what we can find!
Down Hollywood Boulevard, all of the shops’ window displays have been switched to holiday themed ones. The window outside of Celebrity 5 & 10 has a dancing kickline of Minnie-shaped ornaments.
Across the street, the windows of Mickey’s of Hollywood display an array of this year’s holiday merchandise.
Flora Fiera and Evie Starlight seemed thrilled at the holiday touches along Hollywood Boulevard. They were definitely making a scene about them.
Outside of The Hollywood Brown Derby, we spotted Christmas light strung throughout the bushes. You have to look closely, because they lights are in Disney’s signature “go-away” green color, making them easily blend into the shrubbery.
Poor Gertie still doesn’t have her Santa hat. We’re beginning to feel a bit sorry for her! Other than those minor additions, there’s still no major holiday decorations out at Hollywood Studios.
The classic studios logo sign is still missing from the archway entering Animation Courtyard.
In Toy Story Land, another wall as been erected at the Roundup Rodeo BBQ construction site. We reported on structural construction beginning earlier this week. There’s no official opening date set for this new table service restaurant.
In other construction news, the restrooms across from BaseLine Tap House are getting closer to being finished. The metal trim lining the roof is almost complete and a white tarp-like fabric is concealing the restroom sign.
