Greetings from Magic Kingdom! It’s Thanksgiving week, so lots of people are here for the holiday. Let’s see what’s happening at the most magical place on earth!
Â
The holiday crowds have officially arrived. Big Thunder Mountain’s queue was spilling outside.
Traffic signs were being held up by cast members to direct crowd flow in Fantasyland.
Yikes! This was the end of the FastPass line for It’s A Small World.
The Tomorrowland Speedway line was looping around multiple times outside of its normal queue area.
Back on Main Street, Jim Shore, who designs his own line of collectable Disney figurines, will be visiting Main Street Cinema on December 2nd.
If you were planning on picking up a pair of the new Coach designer Mickey ears from Uptown Jewelers, we have bad news! Even though they were just released last week, they’re already sold out.
There’s been constant work on the TRON Lightcycle Run construction site.
Recently, part of the track started being enclosed, forming a tunnel.
Excavation continues around the outdoor portion of the track to prepare for the attraction’s massive canopy.
More slats have been added to the side of the show building structure, meaning wall panels will be going up soon.
A doorway has also been framed out at the bottom of the structure.
The refurbishment of Start Traders is almost complete. The only thing needing to be finished is the wall paper job on the top of the store’s walls.
While in Star Traders, we discovered that this 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea tee, which was previously spotted in Disneyland, has made its way to Walt Disney World.
As Frozen 2Â dominates the box office, even more new merchandise has been released in the parks. We found this adult long-sleeved top in Sir Mickey’s.
The silhouette of the two sisters is worked into the shirt’s design.
The film’s logo is at the bottom of the left sleeve.
It also has a hood that you can wear up when you don’t feel like letting it go. It retails for $39.99.
Umbrellas and outdoor furniture arrived at the Liberty Square construction site. This area should be opening any day now.
Giddy up! Chip and Dale were out meeting guests in Frontierland today in their best western dress. They looked ready to crash the Country Bear Jamboree.
We took a monorail ride to see what was happening with all of the front entrance construction. There’s not a lot of change from our last update. Crew members worked around the area of a future planter.
On the new structure at the front entrance by the water, it appears that part of the structure has received some drywall.
That about does it for us! We hope you enjoyed our trip around Magic Kingdom. Will you be spending the holidays at Walt Disney World? Let us know in the comments.
