Pumpkin spice and everything nice! Fall may be almost over, but that won’t stop the Funnel Cake Kiosk from rolling out a Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake for the 2019 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Located in between The American Adventure and the Japan pavilion, let’s see if this funnel cake belongs on Santa’s nice list.

Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake – $9.50
The funnel cake is actually pumpkin spice flavored and made with a different batter than your typical funnel cake. There’s a plentiful amount of powdered sugar, which is arguably one of the best parts of a funnel cake. In the center, there’s a dollop of whipped cream with a sprinkling of pumpkin spice on top. We could smell the pumpkin spice as soon as we received the funnel cake.
The funnel cake was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of crunch. The whipped cream is dense, but has a very light taste. It’s not very sweet, so it really just adds a creamy element to the funnel cake rather than additional sweetness.
The funnel cake had such a strong scent, we were slightly disappointed by the actual taste. It’s delicious, but really doesn’t have as much pumpkin spice taste as we expected.
Most of the flavor came from the pumpkin spice sprinkled on the whipped cream, so make sure you spread that out if you’re looking for strong Fall flavors.
If you’re a fan of funnel cake (and who isn’t?), we always recommend trying the latest seasonal flavor. We’d still recommend this, even if it’s light on the pumpkin spice flavors.
